About the Role We're currently seeking compassionate and reliable casual Disability Support Workers to join our Rockhampton team. With a variety of shifts available including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends this role offers flexibility and the opportunity to build meaningful long-term relationships with participants. You’ll support participants with: Daily living tasks and routines Personal care and hygiene Medication assistance Emotional wellbeing and independence Community participation and social engagement Maintaining a safe supportive home environment The Roster Flexible options to suit your lifestyle 6 AM 2PM 2 PM 10 PM 10 PM 6 AM (inactive sleepover) 75 hours 9 shifts per fortnight 60 hours 7 8 shifts per fortnight 40 hours 2 shifts per fortnight admin hours What You’ll Need Minimum 2 years experience in disability or youth support NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card) WWCC (Blue Card) First Aid and CPR Certificate Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance Highly Regarded Cert IV in Mental Health or equivalent Experience with complex behaviours or mental health Strong communication and leadership skills Tech‑savvy and organised Why Join Young Mindz You’ll join a team that’s real respectful and driven to help people live life their way.
