Asphalt Operators (Paving Plant Operators) Job Type: Permanent | Full time SGA is a family‑run asphalt business in Bayswater. We are looking for experienced and reliable Asphalt Operators to join our team immediately. The role involves operating paving plant, rollers (steel and multi), tack trucks, milling machine (Pocket Rocket W500), skid steers and spray seal equipment, while delivering a first‑class service and ensuring compliance with statutory OHS&E requirements. Responsibilities Carry out work in a safe manner and be responsible for the quality of your work. Carry out duties within the limits of your skill, competence and training as directed by the employer. Operate paving plant, rollers, tack trucks, milling machine, skid steer and spray seal equipment. Deliver a first‑class service to our customers. Ensure compliance with statutory OHS&E requirements, including pre‑start checks and immediate reporting of incidents or damage. Qualifications & Experience At least 1 year proven experience working with asphalt. White card or ability to obtain a White card. Industry tickets for paving and for operating the equipment listed above (all applications are considered). Positive attitude with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors. Commitment to workplace safety and environmental sustainability.
