Position Ghumti Kitchen Pty Ltd T/as Ghumti Kitchen is seeking a Cook for a full-time position. Benefits We are offering excellent working conditions and an annual salary package of $75,000 – 77,000 plus superannuation. Task & responsibilities Assisting Chef creating recipes, setting up menus and preparing high-quality dishes to match the Nepalese – Indian concept of the restaurant Cook food in a timely manner Delegate tasks to kitchen staff Inform wait staff about daily specials Ensure appealing plate presentation Supervise Kitchen staff and assist as needed Modify recipes to meet customers dietary needs and requests Monitor food stock and place orders Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients Assisting Chef to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area Qualifications & experience Minimum 1–2 years of full-time work experience as a Cook Certificate III in Commercial Cookery / Certificate IV in Kitchen management or higher relevant hospitality qualification Priority will be given to people having previous work experience in Nepalese Restaurants. Ability to train, motivate and counsel staff in relation to performance issues Exceptional levels of cleanliness and organisation Team player and able to work in busy environment About Company Ghmuti Kitchen is a Nepalese & Indian restaurant located in Allawah, NSW.
