You won’t just inspect and audit critical civil infrastructure, you’ll also perform preventative maintenance to ensure the safety and longevity of public assets. Using advanced tools, all‑terrain vehicles, and the latest software, you’ll complete your work efficiently and effectively. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a tech‑forward, hands‑on environment, apply now and help us maintain a safe and accessible community About this opportunity As a Civil Maintenance Audit Officer, you’ll inspect and report on the condition of Council’s civil assets. Working with the City Works team, you’ll help maintain accurate data in our asset management system and ensure maintenance work meets high standards of quality and safety. This hands‑on role offers variety and a chance to make a real difference in the community What you’ll deliver Conduct civil infrastructure inspections and record defects through Council’s corporate system Provide insights on roads and drainage maintenance Assist with scheduling, contractor performance audits, and OHS reporting Contribute to the continual improvement of Council’s asset management data and systems Implement traffic management plans, respond to maintenance emergencies, and operate minor plant equipment Build positive, proactive relationships with internal and external stakeholders Your Skills and Experience You’re a motivated professional who takes pride in quality work and great customer service. You bring practical knowledge, teamwork, and sound attention to detail to every task.
