About the role We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Marine Surveyor to join our Caleb Brett team in Sydney on a part-time, permanent basis (minimum 24 hours per week). As a Marine Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting a range of surveys and inspections related to cargo, marine, petroleum, chemical, grain on sea-going and bulk cargo vessels. Your key responsibilities will include: Performing Cargo, Marine, Petroleum, Chemical, Road tanker inspections and Grain surveys and inspections. Sampling and gauging shore tanks at various Terminals. Preparing detailed reports and invoices. Liaising with clients, shipping agents, and vessel staff to ensure smooth operations. Contributing to general office functions, ensuring accurate reporting and timely analysis of results. Providing support for terminal and wharf duties as needed. The role requires the successful candidate to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card. Experience with oil, fuel and LPG tankers, dry cargo, and marine inspections is beneficial. Self-Motivation & Organisational Skills : The ability to manage your time and tasks effectively, with a high level of organization and self-motivation.
