The primary purpose of this role is to provide forensic computing services for the collection, preservation, analysis and interpretation of digital evidence from investigations and operations undertaken by the Commission. Experience using modern forensic computing software packages including those that specialise in mobile device, computer and eDiscovery evidence. Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills and the capacity to deliver quality work within limited timeframes. Highly developed written and interpersonal communication skills with experience in providing expert testimony in Courts of Law highly regarded. Highly developed skills in researching complex technical issues and provide quality advice. Demonstrated ability to contribute positively within a team environment. Possession of tertiary qualifications in Computing and/or Information Technology is a requirement. Experience with various modern digital forensic software packages including those that specialise in mobile device, computer and eDiscovery evidence is a requirement. The ability to acquire IACIS Computer Digital Forensic Examiner certification or suitable alternative is mandatory.
