We are looking for an experienced, passionate chef / experienced cook to join our small team. This position will suit those who enjoy customer interaction as it involves all FOH duties, including taking orders and running drinks / food. We are a small wine and cocktail bar in Brunswick West About us interesting, evolving wine and drinks menu seasonally changing food menu of share plates and snacks with a focus on local produce. Opportunity for creative input into menu design large vinyl collection small, friendly team and a great regular customer-base We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative chef or experienced cook to run the food side of the business RSA essential. Some wine / beverage knowledge desirable full-time position 5 days / nights per week, including weekends set roster / predictable hours / no overtime experience essential (experience in small kitchens preferred) no separation between kitchen and FOH, you will be working as part of a very small team in a very open kitchen, so serving customers and other FOH tasks will be necessary must be passionate about food, hospitality, music and interested in expanding wine and cocktail knowledge must be able to work autonomously drivers licence and own car essential Your duties will be menu design, in consultation with business owners ordering food prep and mise en place prep for cocktail batching, garnishes, cordials etc. stock rotation and stock control maintenance of food safety records menu design for functions from time to time some shopping required from time to time #J-18808-Ljbffr
