About The Role This position is responsible for the administration and implementation of construction contracts for Manningham. Responsibilities include tendering, assessment and selection of suitable contractors, and ongoing project management to safely build works that meet design and community needs. Often you’ll be required to think on your feet and adapt to changing conditions—weather, politics or soil—to ensure works are delivered to a high standard. Skills and Experience Equivalent of a degree in Engineering or Construction Management (registration as an Engineer highly favoured). Minimum five years’ experience in construction supervision of civil projects. Ability to design, review and manage the design of civil projects. Expertise in planning, implementing, and supervising civil projects to ensure compliance with contracts, Council requirements, industry standards and legislative requirements. Collaboration and knowledge sharing in a professional environment. Problem‑solving skills to resolve complex operational and service delivery issues. Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Civil Site Design for design/review of roads, drains and traffic improvements is an advantage.
