Gardening, Landscaping and Property maintenance Manager We are seeking an experienced, fit person who has a love for plants, and gardens and general property care. Maintenance of machinery and equipment with some mechanical background preferred. We are continuing to develop our private 20 acre property here at Glasshouse Mountains which requires some further fencing to be developed for equestrian horses. Currently the work will involve some management weeding, planting out of our organic vegetable beds 2 x 12m long, raised box, for growing of lettuces and greens produce for the Cafe located 5 mins from property. Experience would be very advantageous as we are continuing to develop and plant trees, hedges, and landscape around the property and develop the water Billobong. This position involves care maintenance of the current established gardens with weeding, mulching, whipper sniping and mowing.. Knowledge and care of equipment of machinery will be required in this position. SomeKnowledge and ability to use tractor and of pasture improvement management and irrigation of small areas would be very beneficial having previous experience in this area. The position will involve property fencing -wood and steel and further development of landscaping to border planting of trees and their ongoing care to establishment Some degree of building/carpentry skills for 4 new stables and the undercover indoor area that has just been built to be able to do batter boundary. Ability to be very self managed and have skill sets to organize and supervise contractors work within the property. from time to time. Any building and retaining wall skills would be advantageous as development continues to be expanded on the site We are happy to negotiate with the right candidate to offer a full time position as contract work or it may suit the right candidate as a casual position of 3-4 days a week. #J-18808-Ljbffr
