Joss Legal is in an exciting period of growth and we are now seeking a suitably experienced, motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Receptionist and Paralegal who is committed to achieving the best outcome for every client. Key Responsibilities Reception Greet and assist clients as they arrive at reception. Manage and direct incoming calls and emails. Liaising with other lawyers, barristers and other businesses as required. Attending to incoming mail. Manage electronic and physical filing systems. Processing client's invoices and Legal Aid grants. Preparing correspondence and documents as necessary. Maintain LEAP files ensuring all relevant data is entered. Maintain diaries for lawyers including making appointments for clients. Taking instructions from clients where necessary. Perform other related duties as requested. Assisting solicitors as required. Key Responsibilities Paralegal Management of email inbox. Manage and direct incoming calls and emails. Liaising with other lawyers, barristers and other businesses as required. Preparation of legal documents. Preparing correspondence and documents as necessary. Maintain LEAP files ensuring all relevant data is entered. Maintain diaries for lawyers including making appointments for clients. Taking instructions from clients where necessary. Meeting with clients. Perform other related duties as requested. Assisting solicitors as required. To be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate the following essential criteria and personal attributes We are looking for someone who has passion for a long‑term career in family and/or estate law. All training will be provided on the job for you to build your skills in a supportive and friendly environment. Experience in a similar role would be looked upon favourably. Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook. Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide range of people at all levels. Must be well organised and able to juggle multiple tasks - dynamic, and action‑orientated, who meets deadlines and makes it happen. Sound knowledge of LEAP Practice Management Software (desirable). Must have ability to build and maintain relationships. Must possess an enthusiastic and approachable personality. Enjoy contributing and working in a small team. Modern, open plan offices.
