As the E-Commerce Merchandise Planning Specialist , you will be the centre of expertise for all things E-Commerce. You will be accountable for leading all aspects of our online store including onsite developments, projects and meeting the performance objectives with a focus on sales and conversion rate. You will play a critical role in optimizing stock levels, analysing sales performance, and work closely with Global HQ in Japan and with the marketing team and all other relevant teams to ensure all communication and creative aligns with the brand and is consistent with wider E-commerce and marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities Drives customer satisfaction and expand UNIQLO's 'LifeWear' concept by delivering exceptional product experiences including online to offline. Develop and achieve performance objectives: Sales, Gross Margin % and budget. Online Merchandising and Inventory management with site operation, inventory control, and logistics. Create and maintain weekly/monthly sales forecast by item; collaborate with Inventory control team on daily allocation of featured products/ranges. Provide significant analysis to support seasonal planning decisions and directions; discuss promotion/mar­k­down strategy with store merchandising planning team. Build product assortment plan for E-Commerce and tailor launching plan according to the business strategy. Check each SKU on E‑Commerce exclusive items and place order to avoid out‑of‑stock situations. Reforecast business in‑season based on current performance, present revised projections and recommendations to cross‑functional partners and senior leadership. Create allocation strategies, incorporating the merchandise plan and flow strategy to meet inventory needs. Ensure alignment of online activities with retail stores. Work closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure all projects are launched successfully. Drive growth and awareness for our Website (PC & Mobile), APP, Website traffic & conversion. Identify opportunities for site improvements in line with industry best practice and manage the development agenda with overseas development team. Collaborate with digital marketing team to ensure daily communication plan (eDM / APP Push notification / SNS) aligns with the right products. Report store performance including GA4, traffic source, sales and trend data – tracking conversion rates, analytics and making improvements to the website. Experience, skills and knowledge 2+ years of experience in e‑commerce merchandise planning and allocation, specifically in the retail or fashion sector. Previous experience managing and directing 3rd parties or projects to achieve business outcomes. In-depth knowledge of retail industry trends, the e‑commerce landscape, and consumer behaviour. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Expertise in using Jira and GA4 for comprehensive e‑commerce analysis. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to a cross‑cultural environment. Organizational efficiency, attention to detail, and a methodical approach. Ability to analyze and leverage data to enhance performance across various e‑commerce aspects. Strong attention to detail with the capability to develop processes for ongoing accuracy improvement. Ability to multi‑task effectively in a fast‑paced and dynamic e‑commerce environment. Customer service‑oriented and solution‑driven approach.
