Well tendered jobs with margin - work with the subbies and don't fight them, enjoy your job Develop your career under a Director from a Tier 2 Background This company is about making margin, delivering quality and not chasing T / O Work for a leading Commercial & Residential Builder ECI & Preferred Tender projects Exposure to a variety of construction projects across Commercial, Retail and Residential projects Outstanding business culture with active social scene 'A-Grade' Office space with parking Great salary package with additional incentives in a growing company The Role & Business Working as a Junior Contracts Administrator for a Tier 3 Builder, you will be reporting to an experienced Director and have the opportunity to have a clear route into project management and make the position your own as the business grows. You will be working on a range of commercial and residential projects within Sydney. As a Junior CA, you will be involved in all post-contract award decisions from procurement, letting subcontract trade packages, management of RFIs, variations and progress claims, EOTs and NoDs. As your experience grows, you will start to gain a strong understanding of Head Contract Management and preparing and presenting monthly Cost Reports to the Director and Senior Project Manager. Typically working on 1-2 concurrent projects depending on the size of the job. This role is well compensated and allows you to work with subbies and enjoy your job. The Builder is well recognized and respected within their project range of $500k - $10M and growing across Fit-Out, Refurb and New Build projects. They pride themselves on team harmony, a strong culture and recognize people want to enjoy where they work and they are happy to facilitate as they feel this results in a productive workforce. The business hires on personality with the intention of investing heavily in training and mentoring so you can grow with the business long term. Turning over in excess of $25M in NSW, they are best known for the delivery of Commercial fit-out and luxury residential projects. Typically working with Clients who are household names across Australia, they have an 85% repeat client base which ensures consistency of work and has insured the business against the worst of the current economic climate. Qualifications & Experience You will have finished a Bachelor of Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture. You will have a minimum of 2 years industry experience working for a recognised Head Contractor in Sydney. You MUST be available to start within 2 weeks notice. Your key drivers will be about wanting to be part of something and work with professional people whilst building quality projects. Your attitude will be your biggest asset - you will be hard working, have a positive mindset and be eager to learn. You will have worked with good construction software.
