Associate / Senior Associate, Superannuation - Investment

Overview Associate / Senior Associate, Superannuation - Investment at Allens. Part of the Funds, Superannuation & Financial Services Team (FSF); collaborate with partners and lawyers across offices; work with clients across sectors including government, healthcare, infrastructure, media and banking. Allens offers exposure to a variety of Partners and work streams, with opportunities to specialise in investments while building a broad foundation across the field. This is a permanent, full-time role with the possibility of hybrid working or flexible arrangements. Responsibilities Advise leading Australian and global institutional investors, including many of Australia’s largest superannuation funds, on direct and indirect investments across traditional and emerging asset classes. Provide guidance on investment structures and activities, including: pooled fund investments; co-investments alongside managers; funds-of-one; direct investments / JVs and other closely-held fund structures into private market assets (real estate, infrastructure); IMAs; and asset transition work. Assist superannuation and other investors with regulatory and compliance issues related to their investment activities. About You Experience in funds, superannuation or financial services, ideally from a leading top-tier, national or international firm, or in-house team. Background in financial services with experience in investments or funds-related transactions across private capital asset classes. A focus on specialising in investments work for clients in the superannuation sector while building generalist expertise. Excellent academics. Desire to learn, grow, network, and mentor others.
