The Role We have exciting casual opportunities available for experienced Japanese culinary professionals in the following positions to be part of the team delivering a dining experience with an edgy take on Japanese cuisine at our new hatted restaurant Terasu. Demi Chef Commi Chef Cook About You Formal trade qualification in a relevant field and relevant work experience. Demonstrated experience in Sushi and Sashimi cooking techniques and menu creation. Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and culinary trends. Excellent organisational skills and time management to handle multiple priorities including coordinating with the Front of House staff. Keen interest and passion for keeping up-to-date with industry trends. A working understanding of and ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP.
