About the role This is an exciting opportunity to join McGuire Hotels as a Duty Manager at its Colmslie Hotel location in Brisbane CBD & Inner Suburbs Brisbane QLD. As a Duty Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of this thriving hospitality establishment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving the overall success of the hotel. Serving as the key point of contact and decision-maker during your shift, managing all aspects of hotel operations Ensuring exceptional customer service by leading and guiding the team to deliver high-quality service Handling guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner Monitoring and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and security throughout the hotel Overseeing the efficient and effective use of hotel resources, including staff, equipment, and supplies Collaborating with other departments to coordinate and optimise hotel operations Providing guidance, support, and training to team members to foster their professional development Maintaining accurate records and generating reports as required What we’re looking for Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar Duty Manager or Senior Supervisor role within the hospitality industry Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with guests, staff, and other stakeholders Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service Proficiency in the use of hotel management software and technology Thorough understanding of hospitality operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification What we offer Opportunities for career advancement and professional development Supportive and collaborative work environment Attractive leave entitlements About us McGuire Hotels is a leading hospitality group with a growing portfolio of premium hotels across Australia.
