About the Role This is a hands‑on, full finance function role where you’ll support day‑to‑day accounting while contributing to monthly reporting, compliance and year‑end requirements. Working closely with a tight‑knit team, you’ll handle reconciliations, AP/AR processing, statutory obligations and reporting across multiple entities. The role suits someone who enjoys detail, variety, and being trusted to run with key processes. Key Responsibilities Complete bank and credit card reconciliations. Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing. Administer superannuation, WorkCover and PAYG obligations. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and P&L reviews. Prepare month‑end general journals (accruals, prepayments, etc.). Assist with BAS/IAS preparation and related regulatory lodgements. Process donations and support philanthropic reporting needs. Prepare monthly financial reporting packs. Support year‑end audit for a designated legal entity. Maintain a compliance calendar with key due dates and milestones. Assist with ad‑hoc accounting tasks as needed. About You 2–3 years’ experience in a similar Assistant Accountant / finance support role. Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering accurate work on time. Confident communicator who collaborates well with internal stakeholders. Proactive problem‑solver who enjoys improving processes. Fast learner, adaptable to new systems and changing priorities. Positive, down‑to‑earth team player who contributes to a supportive culture.
