About the Role We are seeking a motivated and proactive IT Support Officer to join our corporate team based at Wahroonga. This role is essential in ensuring smooth IT operations across UPA, providing first-line support to staff, maintaining systems, and assisting with IT projects. You’ll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, system administration, and supporting digital transformation initiatives that improve the way we deliver care and services. Key Responsibilities Provide timely and effective Level 1 & 2 IT support to staff across multiple sites (onsite and remote). Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations. Maintain IT assets, equipment, and inventories. Assist with system upgrades, installations, and patches. Support the implementation of new technologies and digital transformation projects. Provide clear communication and support to staff with varying levels of IT knowledge. Ensure compliance with IT policies, data security, and privacy standards. Contribute to process improvements and documentation of IT procedures. About You You’ll bring strong technical skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset. You enjoy problem-solving, supporting others, and working in a mission-driven environment. Skills & Experience Required Relevant IT qualifications or equivalent industry experience. Proven experience in providing IT support (hardware, software, and networks). Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and common business applications. Familiarity with Active Directory, user management, and permissions. Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks. Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to explain IT issues to non-technical users. A collaborative and positive team player attitude. Additional Requirements Current driver’s licence and ability to travel if required. Right to work in Australia. National Police Check and up-to-date vaccinations (as per UPA policy). Why Join UPA?
