Events & Venue Sales Executive (Sydney Home Based)

Elite Representation Asia Pacific Pty Ltd – Sydney CBD NSW The Opportunity We are seeking a high-energy, relationship-driven Venue & Events Sales Executive to represent StayKCC across Greater Sydney. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building new relationships, developing group business, and selling destination-based events and accommodation. Business Growth Corporate groups (retreats, offsites, leadership programs) Church & faith-based organisations Wellness, sports & community groups Event organisers, PCOs, TMCs, and social-planning networks Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Build and maintain relationships with corporate, government, education, church, and community markets across Sydney Prospect, qualify, and convert group accommodation and event enquiries Present the StayKCC venue in person, online, and at trade events Conduct regular site inspections in Katoomba (supported by management) Events & Booking Coordination Prepare proposals, tailored packages, and quotes Liaise with onsite team to hand over confirmed bookings Track pipeline, conversion rates, and ROI Attend industry networking events, expos, and conferences (PCOs, TMCs, tourism associations, Christian networks, etc.) Build relationships with PCOs, schools, associations, and corporate training providers Represent StayKCC professionally in the Sydney market What We're Looking For Experience in venue sales, hotel sales, events, group travel, or hospitality account management Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience Strong relationship-builder who enjoys outreach, networking, and meeting clients Comfortable working autonomously with clear KPIs Able to travel to the Blue Mountains (Katoomba) for site tours & familiarisations Strong written and verbal communication skills Confident presenting StayKCC to decision-makers, from pastors to school principals to corporate leaders Must be an Australian citizen Bonus Skills (not essential) Experience selling retreats, school camps, church events, or group accommodation Existing networks in Sydney corporate, NFP, or faith-based communities Familiarity with the Blue Mountains tourism and events landscape Knowledge of Christian camps, retreats, or ministry events.
