Warehouse Supervisor – Major Events Motorsport Industry Motorsport Distributors Group – Thomastown VIC Motorsport Distributors Group is just as its name suggests, a motorsport merchandise distribution business. Not only do we import and distribute official Formula 1 and Moto GP merchandise; we also manufacture, merchandise and retail at major motorsport events for F1, MotoGP and Supercars. We run retail programs both nationally and internationally across 20+ events every year. As well as service a wholesale network (including car dealerships and specialty shops) around the country. Established in 2003, Motorsport Distributors Group boasts an established reputation for building and managing brand management programs and licensingprograms in Australia and internationally. An exciting position has become in our organisation, and we aresearching for a new person to join the team, working in the warehouse, with an option to work at events. This role is based at our Thomastown HQ warehouse, About the role: Warehouse Duties Assist with Picking Orders accurately when required Checking and counting inward goods Put away of incoming goods Monitoring stock levels and restocking Inventory control including cycling counting Maintaining factory cleanliness and organisation Supporting wholesale order requirements Working with dispatch team to process orders accuratelyand swiftly Communicate withthird party delivery drivers and share informationregarding pallet & asset movements Operate and direct the use of machinery and equipment safely Complete pick reports, conduct audits, and participate in team meetings Allocate stock splits per location & back up inventory allocation as required Preparestock & equipment into container shops to be ready for events Work closely with Events Team preparing inventory requirements and assets for upcoming events Post event tasks: Unpack containers shops of stock & equipment Put away equipment back into correct storage locations Reposition shopcontainers post event back into position Re-merge returning stock back into the warehouse stock To be considered: Possess a high attention to detail and be process driven First-rate communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at varying levels Self-motivated with an excellent work ethic and attitude Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and achieve goals within tight timeframes as well as work within a teamenvironment & be adaptable to any situation A strong multitasker Truck license (ideal but not compulsory) Skills and experience: 2-5 years of experience in Warehousing/Logistics 3-5 years in a supervisory position within Warehousing/Logistics Understanding of OH&S Competent in Microsoft Office Applications What we have to offer: Fun and fast working environment Close knit and supporting work culture Varied roles & tasks to build skill sets for long term personal growth Opportunity to travel to some of the biggest motorsport events in Australia, NZ & Internationally Major event celebratory dinners (and drinks) and Christmas shenanigans Private staff gym Discounted access to retail merchandise Track days with teams Event day opportunities If this sounds like you, please click 'apply now' to submit your resume and brief covering letter to be considered for this position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
