The Role You will join a fun, hardworking and energetic housekeeping team who are responsible for ensuring all hotel linen, employee uniforms and guest items are in good repair. Day to Day To provide a professional and courteous service at all times To count and check that Guest Laundry and Dry Cleaning items correspond with the completed Laundry & Dry Cleaning docket To liaise with Laundry Service Provider in relation to Laundry and Dry Cleaning procedures To efficiently use washing machines and dryers to launder guest items and staff uniform To perform handwashing of delicate or specialty items when necessary, ensuring careful handling and proper cleaning To allocate uniforms to new employees and inspect all uniforms to ensure they are maintained in good repair To inspect all uniforms to ensure they are in good order and are maintained in good repair, ensuring hems, zippers, buttons and any other repairs are attended to Qualifications A good understanding of English so that you can communicate with each other and our Guests Not have any issues bending, lifting and walking for long periods Be flexible enough so that you can work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays Must already have a valid visa to work in Australia This is your chance to work with exclusive clientele at a luxury hotel like no other.
