The Role As our Precontracts team continues to grow, Unyte is seeking a Bid Manager / Project Manager. This is a precontracts-focused role, ideal for an experienced Senior Project Engineer ready to transition into the precontracts space. You’ll join a dynamic, collaborative team and take the lead on key bids and submissions—working closely with stakeholders, construction managers , engaging delivery teams early, and applying strong communication and relationship-building skills to drive winning outcomes. Responsibilities Lead and manage tender submissions including strategy development, team coordination, risk assessment, constructability and final review to ensure high-quality, competitive bids. Collaborate across departments (Precontracts, Delivery, Commercial, Procurement) to align bid content with pricing, contract terms, and project requirements. Engage in post-tender activities such as client negotiations, presentations, clarifications, and handover documentation to support successful project initiation. Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to internal bid processes and systems. Foster team culture and development through mentoring, contributing to team initiatives, and promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Minimum of 7+ years’ experience across civil engineering. Effective communication with clients, consultants' management & on-site personnel.
