About the Role Midford is looking for a talented and motivated Apparel / Graphic Designer to join our creative and dedicated team. We are seeking an energetic, efficient, team orientated individual to provide creative solutions for a diverse range of projects. Working closely with Product Developers, Garment Technician and Account Managers you must have strong attention to detail and be an effective communicator. Job tasks and responsibilities Superior communication, organizational and time management skills. Proven ability to independently manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment. Liaising with Sales Representatives & Product Developers to design solutions for school’s design briefs. Highly experienced & efficient in Adobe Illustrator. Experienced in Photoshop & Indesign. Demonstrate ability in managing work across multiple projects simultaneously to achieve deadlines. Demonstrate ability to work to a tight schedule to produce effective, quality outcomes within short time frames. Creating storyboards, product and branding artwork. Creating packaging artworks. Assist with the design & production of the Catalogue. Designing flyers, Point of Sale & Marketing material for Midford’s Retail Stores. Design of sublimated sportswear garments. Skills and experience 3 + years professional experience. Experience in Apparel Industry. Children’s wear is preferred but not essential. An understanding of design for Apparel manufacture. Excellent personal organisational skills and processes. Fashion Design or Graphic Design tertiary qualifications.
