Senior Legal Counsel Location: Perth, Western Australia About the Company This growing ASX 200 company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its high‑performing legal team. About the Opportunity This position offers the chance to work closely with the General Counsel in a broad and influential legal role. You will be a trusted adviser across the business, supporting key functions including commercial, finance, projects, operations, exploration, native title, human resources and company secretarial work. The successful candidate will gain exposure to high‑impact projects and become a trusted business adviser. Responsibilities Providing advice across a wide range of commercial, corporate, contractual and regulatory matters. Drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts including procurement, banking and confidentiality agreements. Managing disputes and claims efficiently, including oversight of external legal counsel. Contributing to corporate governance, risk and supporting major operational and strategic initiatives. About You This position would suit a lawyer with 5–12 years post‑admission experience, ideally gained across both private practice and in‑house settings with a background in either the mining, resources, construction or engineering sectors. You'll also bring A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex legal concepts for non‑legal audiences. Strong judgment, critical thinking and a pragmatic approach to legal problem‑solving.
