Senior Radiographer (Interventional Cardiology) St Vincent’s Health Australia, St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst, New South Wales, Australia Permanent Full Time (35 hrs/week) Salary: $119,168.12 - $131,832.25 + super + salary packaging About the Role Advanced interventional cardiac imaging radiographer – provide expert imaging for endomyocardial biopsies, coronary angiograms, TAVI’s, Mitraclip’s and pacemaker procedures using x‑ray angiography, IVUS and OCT. Cardiac technician – closely monitor patient haemodynamics during complex interventional procedures. Radiation safety champion – promote a culture of safety to protect patients and staff from ionising radiation. Innovation lead – pilot improvement projects at a centre for cardiac excellence. Educator – attend conferences, facilitate department in‑services and contribute to scientific papers. Collaborative leader – work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, anaesthetists, nurses and product representatives. About You Qualifications & Registration: Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration and a valid NSW EPA Radiation License. Clinical Experience: Proven experience in interventional medical imaging, with strong expertise in cardiac imaging. Time & Workload Management: Ability to prioritise competing tasks efficiently in a dynamic, high‑pressure environment. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Able to inspire colleagues and work seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team to achieve organisational goals. Problem Solving & Communication: Strong self‑directed learning, decision‑making, complex problem‑solving, and excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and computer skills.
