Operations Manager

As Operations Manager for a brand new startup charity, your role is critical in allowing us to provide the best service we can to our guests. We move several hundred kilo’s of food every week to 50 households on average across Lake Macquarie. We are a small operation for now but we aim to continue to grow quickly. You will be generally responsible for ensuring that the day to day activities at the shop run smoothly. Required Skills No management experience is required for this role You will need to be good with technology including social media Willingness to learn, receptive to feedback Confident and polite attitude Organised and can stick to a schedule Bonus if you have a license and access to a car Main Duties attend the shop in-person for about 10 hours across the week build rapport with other volunteers digitise paper forms and data complete weekly reports optionally perform local pickups of supplies using personal vehicle coordinate volunteers to ensure that the stock room and kitchen are kept organised, the shop is kept clean post to social media with approval other project related tasks this role will ideally be shared between two people, with each person checking the other’s work This role would be excellent for someone looking to gain practical experience in a managerial role A great resume booster Reference can be given after 3 calendar months Commitment Regular - less than 6 months Training All training provided Time required Time budget of 10 hours per week across the following days and times: Wednesday 8am-12pm, Thursday 9am-3pm, Friday 9am-3pm, Saturday 9am-3pm Requirements photo ID 18+ technologically literate willing and eager to learn basic understanding of social media #J-18808-Ljbffr
