About The Role The Rostering team is responsible for creating multiple rosters, up to six weeks in advance to meet staffing and operational requirements. Rostering oversees the end‑to‑end rostering process, including building and maintaining rosters, managing shift allocations, timesheet management and ensuring accurate recording of staff attendance. The Role Of a Rostering Team Leader Supervise a team of Rostering Officers, providing guidance and supervision, including training and development, and managing their timesheets and leave requests. Coordinate day‑to‑day operations of rostering practices for the team/office. Ensure fortnightly compliance is achieved with Time Target and supporting systems. Officers operate on a rotating 14‑day roster, which involves weekend and public holiday work, remunerated in accordance with the applicable provisions of the VPS Enterprise Agreement. An integral part of working as part of the Rostering team is in‑person presence at the location. The role will require the incumbent to regularly attend their usual place of work. About You Experience and proficiency in the use of time and attendance systems, such as TimeTarget/Humanforce or Kronos, and understanding of rostering principles for planning and maintaining multiple staff roster lines. Experience understanding and advising on enterprise awards and agreements. Knowledge and experience in rostering, human resource services and/or payroll practices and managing others.
