Job Description Now, about this role… Our Funding Lead is responsible for overseeing the execution of critical funding operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing across multiple systems while leading a high performing team. If you love: Leading operational teams to deliver high-quality funding outcomes. Managing complex financial transactions like loan settlement funding, drawdowns and trust payments. Driving process improvements and automation initiatives. Collaborating with Treasury, Risk, and Finance teams. Working in a dynamic, high-volume environment with a strong focus on controls. Then this just might be…your dream job: Lead and coach a small team to execute funding activities with precision and urgency. Oversee settlements payments, drawdowns, trust collections, treasury payments and securitisation. Ensure robust risk management and control execution across all processes. Continuous improvement and scalable funding workflows. Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless operational outcomes. Desired Skills and Experience A little bit about you… You thrive in high-pressure environments, have a sharp eye for detail, and enjoy leading teams to deliver accurate and timely financial outcomes. You’re passionate about improving processes and building trusted relationships across functions. The skills you’ve picked up along the way: Deep knowledge of funding operations including RTGS, Austraclear, and trust accounts. Strong leadership and coaching capability. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities. 5+ years in financial operations or treasury roles within banking or financial services. Experience managing operational funding processes and leading teams. Familiarity with financial systems like Oracle, payment and Core platforms.
