They are now hiring a Senior Game Software Engineer with strong experience across game engines, rendering systems, animation pipelines and real-time state management . This is not standard software development — this is pure game engineering , building fast, visually rich, high-performance games from scratch. Why You’ll Love This Role Build original games with huge global player visibility Work heavily with Pixi.js, Phaser, React, TypeScript Own rendering performance, animation, VFX, game logic and optimisation Greenfield game development — new features, new engines, new concepts Generous salary + bonus Global relocation + full sponsorship available for international candidates Up to $250,000 incl super + bonus What You’ll Work On Develop game engines and core client systems using Pixi.js / Phaser / custom frameworks Implement and optimise animations, sprites, VFX, rendering pipelines Ensure smooth frame rates , efficient memory use and high-performance gameplay Build and maintain math engines, RNG logic, pay tables Collaborate with designers, artists and backend engineers to bring concepts to life Contribute to UI using React , but the role is primarily game-engine focused Integrate frontend game logic with backend services (Go / Node.js) Own performance profiling, testing, and optimisation across devices What You Need Hands‑on experience with Pixi.js, Phaser, Unity, Cocos2d or similar engines Rendering loops, animation systems, sprites, WebGL/canvas Game math, RNG accuracy & compliance Real‑time state management & deterministic logic Performance optimisation (FPS, load times, memory) Strong fundamentals in algorithms, optimisation & gameplay architecture Nice to Have Experience with Go or Node.js Exposure to AWS/GCP/Azure for scalable backend game services CI/CD and modern DevOps practices Location Melbourne, Australia Full relocation + visa sponsorship available globally How to Apply If you are a true game engineer who loves building fast, visually rich, high-performance games, we want to hear from you.
