You will oversee the design and delivery of solutions to ensure they align with the approved platform strategies and reference architectures. Platforms in scope for this role include the Core Insurance systems and Guidewire. Responsibilities Maintain and develop the platform architecture artefacts, including current state, future state, roadmap, patterns, blueprints, and health of the domain landscape, ensuring alignment with enterprise architectures and principles. Proactively and regularly engage the frontline users of the in-scope platform/domain technologies to understand and uplift the user experience. Collaboratively work with and support the customer’s technology practice for the platform or domain, fostering knowledge sharing, driving excellence, supporting solutions/designs, and ensuring the broader enterprise architecture strategy is being realised at a platform/domain level. Where a solution primarily impacts this platform/domain, then lead and/or carry out the development of architecture heatmaps, conceptual designs and solution designs, including engaging other architects (enterprise, platform, solution) as required. Required Skills Good experience in the Guidewire Platform as a Technology Solutions architect (Highly Preferred). Minimum 5 years of architecture experience, ideally within the Insurance, Financial Services, and/or Government sector. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of platform/domain concepts. A broad range of experience with developing IT reference architectures and strategic roadmaps. Experience developing strategic roadmaps and technology reference architectures. Guidewire Applications Development / Management experience, and possess good knowledge of the Insurance P&C domain. Guidewire certification would be advantageous.
