Salary: $135,693 plus Super & Benefits. About the role The Investment Evaluation team is looking for a motivated individual to join the team as a Senior Analyst. Reporting to the Manager Investment Evaluation, you will be part of a well-respected team. The role is to undertake and support the evaluation of capital and operating investment proposals to inform efficient and optimised expenditure decisions. This includes reviewing business cases and completing financial / economic modelling and evaluation, including for ad hoc strategic initiatives across Water Corporation. Who are we? What you can expect with this role You will undertake financial modelling and business case assessments for major new and existing business opportunities. Provide appropriate financial evaluation and commercial consultancy advice to internal clients to support investment options analysis and strategic decision making. Provide major inputs into policies, procedures, and methodologies. Your skills and experience For this role, we are looking for great talent with: A degree in commerce, economics or a relevant financial or business discipline, and ideally have experience in financial modelling, project evaluation and/or business case assessments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Ability to exercise judgement and discretion in dealing with sensitive issues and senior management. Effective oral and written communication skills, especially in succinctly conveying complex technical concepts and issues. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills to proactively engage and manage a diverse stakeholder group. Experience in the analysis of the commercial aspects of major business initiatives or other major transactions. Sound like a match?
