About this Opportunity The Finance Director is part of the Senior Management Team, responsible for providing effective leadership of the Finance Department and contributing to the success and sustainability of our Company. This position develops and facilitates delivery of the financial strategy and operational plans and related programs, ensuring alignment to company strategic and operational priorities. This includes effective insight, informed decision making, and commercial acumen for the Company and its related entities. Experience & Skills Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, industry standards, and associated practices. Experience in strategic planning, organisational governance, and risk management. Able to demonstrate strong business acumen and commercial thinking and the ability to link high level strategy to operational outcomes. Strong capability in stakeholder engagement and management, including at director level Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling informed decisions to drive effective organisational performance. Experienced in supporting change and developing people and teams to improve capability. Expertise in MS Office, ERP systems, and reporting (intermediate to advanced) Location Ideally, this position is based in Gladstone, Queensland, working with the team in the Head Office. We are also open to engaging candidates who are based in the Brisbane area.
