A&D Sales Representative - Stone and surfacesNew An exceptional opportunity for a sales professional with A&D industry experience to join a boutique supplier of premium natural stone and porcelain. This dynamic, field-based role combines client relationship management with new business development, working alongside Melbourne's leading architects, designers, and developers on high-end design projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, developers, and construction professionals across Melbourne Manage an existing portfolio of clients while actively generating new business opportunities Conduct regular site visits, product presentations, and sample drop-offs across all tiers of the market Drive specifications and provide tailored product solutions throughout the project lifecycle Manage projects from initial specification through to final completion Achieve monthly sales targets with quarterly performance reviews Build long‑term professional relationships through consultative selling and exceptional service delivery Represent the business with integrity and confidence at industry events and networking forums Maintain accurate pipeline and client records Collaborate with internal operations and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years' experience in architectural or design specification sales Proven track record in business development and account management within the A&D industry Strong understanding of architect and designer workflows—you speak their language naturally Experience with natural stone, porcelain, surfaces or premium building materials highly regarded (transferable product knowledge welcomed) Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Self‑motivated sales professional comfortable with autonomous territory management Confidence in networking and building long‑term professional relationships Strong communication skills with ability to articulate design trends, material specifications, and product information effectively Customer‑first approach combined with results‑driven mindset Initiative, professionalism, and strong business acumen Valid driver's license with willingness for extensive daily travel across Melbourne Benefits & Culture Commissions paid monthly Fully maintained company vehicle and tools of the trade Autonomy and flexibility—field‑based role working across client sites, warehouse office, and on the road Work with premium natural stone and porcelain on high‑end design projects Join a collaborative, passionate team committed to excellence with supportive leadership Exposure to leading architects, designers, and developers across Melbourne's A&D industry Ongoing learning and development opportunities Monday–Friday - no weekend work #J-18808-Ljbffr
