The Digital Product Manager role sits within our North Digital Product & Designteam, which is accountable for the North digital product offer. The role centres around creating seamless digital experiences which allow advisers to effectively prepare, executive and report on advice strategies through North while simultaneously delivering a streamlined and efficient service experience. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of our platform and contribute to our mission of being easiest platform for advisers to do business with.Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation, you will be responsible for carving out a product strategy and roadmap for one of our value streams and leading our cross functional delivery teams in developing exciting new products that create class leading end-to-end online user experiences. You will have end to end accountability for your value stream including product strategy, roadmap management and backlog prioritisation, delivery, marketing and positioning, change management and setting and reporting on value metrics. How you’ll make an impact Drive the strategy and long-term vision for your value stream. Lead the product discovery process and develop a deep understanding of the customer pain points, market gaps and opportunities through adviser focus groups, prototype testing and data/market analysis. Work collaboratively with our Operations, Technology, Distribution and Marketing and Adviser representative groups to carve out product solutions and roadmaps that delivers high quality customer experiences and improves business metrics. Define and report on the OKRs for your value stream. Drive a data driven culture where the value of the product is understood by everyone. Manage and prioritises backlog to deliver on objectives and key commercial outcomes. Coordinate dependencies and sequence the Epics and Stories to ensure the teams ability to constantly deliver value in small increments. Work closely with IT delivery teams to deliver innovative digital solutions and ensure the that they are aligned on direction, solution, and business priorities. Work together with UX Design team on delivery of best-in-class user experiences. Work with distribution and marketing to support go-to-market activities for enhancements and product launches Help foster an Agile, data driven, customer centric culture in the teams you lead and the wider division. Accountable for the results (customer and business) of your value stream What you will bring to the team Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role: Previous experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner with a strong expertise in new product development and product optimisation in product-led organisations (3+ years) Someone who is obsessed with the customers and has a track record of addressing their needs through innovative use of technology Strong written and oral communication skills Knowledge of how to effectively set, measure and report on Objectives and Key Results The ability to break down complex problems, deliver real-world business outcomes and handle changing priorities Proven ability to influence outcomes at all levels of the organisation Strategic thinking - can analyse and synthesise information and connect the dots to determine an appropriate strategic approach whilst taking a whole of business perspective. Preferred (but not mandatory) experience in the Australian wealth management market (3+ years) across products, platforms, superannuation and retirement income products You’ll thrive here if… If you can adapt from BAU to the ambiguous with ease, you’ll do well here.
