Front of House Staff Required Mexicali Bar Y Taqueria in Bulimba seeks experienced Front of House team members – wait staff and bartenders. Positions FOH Staff – Experienced Bartenders and Wait Staff (No junior team members) About Us Mexicali Bar Y Taqueria is a family‑owned restaurant serving outstanding Mexican food and beverages for over 11 years. Our rooftop venue in Oxford St, Bulimba opened 1.5 years ago and is purpose‑built to maximize workflow efficiency. We value high‑quality teams and provide training to ensure exceptional service and a rewarding workplace. What We're Looking For Wait Staff Experienced waitperson who loves to provide excellent hospitality, create memorable dining experiences, and work under pressure. Extensive product and service training will be provided. Bartenders Skilled bartender with knowledge of tequila, mezcal, cocktails, wine and beer, and a passion for crafting creative drinks. Confidence and expertise are key; extensive training will be provided. Requirements Commitment to a hospitable, engaging dining experience for guests. Confident, outgoing, friendly demeanor. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and an ‘above and beyond’ attitude. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and resolve issues during busy services. Leadership attitude, setting a high standard for team members. Collaborative with management and receptive to system improvements. Ideally 2+ years of experience in a customer‑facing hospitality role (restaurant service and/or cocktail bartending).
