Civil Construction Surveyor

Stratum Civil, a leader in the construction industry is in a current growth journey and looking to hire a Surveyor to join our team. This experienced and enthusiastic Civil Surveyor will join our team on a full-time basis working alongside our contracting team, project managers and engineers. This role is a key player in our construction process working across Toowoomba. Responsibilities Conduct all aspects of the surveying process across sites and projects including bulk earthworks, stormwater, water, sewer infrastructure and roadworks for residential, industrial, and commercial projects. Carry out survey calculations, drafting and reports. Provide expert advice, management & instruction on a range of surveying projects. Manage and control survey documentation to statutory authorities. Perform fieldwork, calculations, data processing & management of the total project. Liaison with clients, communication within the business and assisting with budgets, accounts. Adhere to the company’s work, health & safety policies. Essential skills & Experience Previous experience working on engineering surveying projects in a senior capacity. Demonstrated time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects at once. Motivated about the industry and genuine interest in Surveying. Experience managing multiple projects at once. Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software. Strong technical and communication skills. Why work for us?
