About the Role As Herbicide Technician, you'll be responsible for the safe and targeted application of herbicides to manage invasive weeds across roadsides, reserves, agricultural zones, and conservation sites. This hands‑on role offers the opportunity to work both independently, predominantly nightshift and within a close‑knit team, contributing to sustainable land management and the long‑term health of our landscapes. Your work will directly support initiatives focused on environmental care, public safety, and community wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Mixing and applying herbicides using hand, backpack, and vehicle-mounted equipment Identifying weed species and assessing treatment areas Maintaining accurate spray records and equipment logs Conducting routine equipment checks and calibrations Ensuring all work complies with safety and environmental regulations Liaising with team leaders, contractors, and landholders as required What We're Looking For Current ChemCert or ACUP certification (or willingness to obtain) Manual driver's licence (HR or MR licence an advantage) Experience in herbicide application, vegetation control, or land management Good understanding of safe chemical handling and environmental protection practices Strong attention to detail and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions Physically fit, self-motivated, and safety-conscious What We Offer RDOs and annual increases on offer Training and Development to support your career with us.
