Casual School Photographers Wanted in Western Sydney Do you want to be part of a high performing team that captures school memories that last a lifetime? MSP Photography Sydney West is looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our photography team for the 2026 school year. Based in Seven Hills, we provide school photography services across the greater Western Sydney region, from Parramatta to the Blue Mountains. The Role: We’re hiring Group & Portrait casual photographers to work 1-3 days per week throughout the school terms, with time off during the school holidays. Positions will begin with training from 29th January 2026. School photography is a fun and unique career opportunity. You’ll be on the go—capturing individual student portraits or class/group photos at a different location every day. All training, photographic equipment, and uniforms will be provided. This is a physical, hands‑on role, so you’ll need to enjoy being active, outdoors, and working in a fast‑paced environment The Ideal Candidate: Friendly & Approachable: You enjoy working with children and have a natural ability to build rapport with students and school staff. Organised & Reliable: You’re self‑motivated, have an excellent eye for detail and ready for early starts with varying hours. Customer & Quality Focused: You know how to provide great service and take pride in delivering high‑quality photos every time. Energetic: You’ll be moving equipment, setting up shoots, and working on your feet all day. Tech‑Savvy: Good working knowledge of computers and systems is a must, and experience with Canon cameras is a bonus Dependable: You must have a valid Australian driver’s license, reliable transport, and a current Working with Children clearance (or be willing to get one before you start). What We Offer: $34.50 per hour inclusive of superannuation contributions. Full training, uniforms and all photographic equipment provided. A supportive and welcoming team environment. Flexible work around school terms. Enjoy working with children in a school environment. Able to lift, set up, and pack down equipment. Available to work flexible hours (early starts and varying day lengths). No weekends required Reliable transport and current driver’s license. Ideally, applicants should live within approximately one hour’s drive of most of our schools to ensure reliability and punctuality for early morning starts. NSW Working with Children clearance (must be obtained prior to starting work).
