SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHERS & ASSISTANTS WANTED FOR OUR 2026 SEASON Based in Townsville Office Start on the 28th of January 2026 How fun would it be to go back to school? Do you remember having your school photos taken? Now’s your chance to help capture those lifelong memories for students and families. advancedlife is a national photographic company that has been specialising in school photography for over 41 years. We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic people to join our North Queensland team, based out of our Townsville office, servicing schools across Cairns, Townsville, and Mackay. We are currently hiring for the following roles: Group Photographers, Photography Assistants. While previous experience as a portrait photographer is not required, experience as a group photographer will be highly regarded. We provide comprehensive, hands‑on training for all photography roles, so if you’re passionate, reliable, and ready to learn, we’ll set you up for success. These casual positions offer 3–5 days of work per week, with breaks during and around school holidays. Opportunities for permanent employment may be available for the right candidates. The successful candidates will: Enjoy working with children of all ages Love working outside of an office environment Be warm, friendly, and professional Be organised and reliable Have a positive attitude and great teamwork skills Be energetic and comfortable in a physical, hands‑on role Hold (or be able to obtain) a Blue Card – Working with Children clearance Hold a valid Australian driver’s licence and have reliable transport to and from the office or job sites Be available for early starts and variable‑length days (not limited to school hours) All equipment, uniforms, and full training are provided.
