Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5/ST6+) in Vascular Surgery The closing date is 21 December 2025 Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5/ST6+) in Vascular Surgery at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH). This post is available from 02 May 2026 for 12 months in the first instance. Main duties of the job This post offers an opportunity to gain experience in a high-volume tertiary Vascular Unit. There are opportunities to be involved in the diabetic foot service, complex aneurysm programme as well as the delivery of our deep venous stent programme. Duties of the post include the management of patients in ward, outpatient and theatre settings. We encourage the Clinical Fellows to initiate and complete a research or audit project, and this post gives an excellent opportunity for aspiring surgeons to improve their CV as well as gain valuable clinical experience. CUH offers comprehensive specialist services in all fields of Vascular Surgery and is also the regional Major Trauma Centre. In order to be considered for the above position, applicants must have evidence of achievement of Core Surgical training. Please note that this post does not carry Postgraduate Dean's approval or training recognition. Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application is required. About us The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
