We are looking for an experienced CRO Manager to join our Digital team. This role leads end‑to‑end conversion rate optimisation across multiple direct‑to‑consumer (DTC) ecosystems, driving experimentation, insights, user experience improvements, and measurable performance uplift. Base pay range A$120,000.00/yr - A$140,000.00/yr Full‑Time | Sydney (Hybrid) Role Purpose The CRO Manager is responsible for developing and executing a structured optimisation and experimentation program across DTC platforms. This includes designing tests, improving funnel performance, analysing behavioural data, uncovering insights, and implementing changes lift conversion and reduce friction across key user journeys. This role is pivotal in shaping high‑quality CRO outputs that directly influence revenue, performance and digital experience maturity. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a structured CRO strategy across DTC sites, aligned with trading cycles, business priorities and performance targets. Build experimentation frameworks, including A/B, multivariate, behavioural and personalisation testing. Manage the CRO backlog, prioritisation process and quarterly optimisation plans. Design, launch and analyse A/B and multivariate tests using modern CRO tools. Convert insights into clear recommendations that enhance UX and lift conversion. Validate hypotheses using qualitative and quantitative research, including heatmaps, session recordings and funnel analysis. Diagnose the end‑to‑end customer journey using analytics and UX principles. Identify drop‑off points and blockers across product detail pages, category pages, basket, cart and checkout flows. Recommend optimisation enhancements for mobile and desktop experiences, landing pages and product discovery. Produce monthly CRO performance reports with clear insights, significance analysis and next‑step recommendations. Use data platforms and dashboards to inform testing strategies and future opportunities. Evaluate test results with statistical rigour and document learnings. Work closely with UX, Design, Analytics, WebOps, Digital Production and Strategy to execute CRO changes. Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders to gain alignment on priorities. Maintain clear feedback loops and continuous‑testing discipline across sprints. Oversee handover of approved optimisations to design and development teams. QA changes prior to deployment to ensure accuracy and measurable impact. Maintain governance across tracking, tagging and measurement processes. Support the evolution of next‑generation optimisation programs, including AI‑driven experimentation and personalisation. Introduce new testing methodologies and contribute to elevating the organisation’s CRO maturity. Ensure the digital team stays competitive, innovative and future‑ready. Skills, Experience & Capabilities Technical & Analytical 4+ years in CRO, experimentation, UX optimisation or eCommerce performance. Strong experience with A/B testing platforms (imizely, VWO, AB Tasty, GA4, Hotjar, Contentsquare, Adobe Target). Skilled in funnel analysis, behavioural data and conversion diagnostics. Understanding of statistical modelling and test validity. UX & Design Ability to identify UX/UI pain points and translate insights into clear design recommendations. Experience briefing and collaborating with designers and developers. Communication & Stakeholder Management Confident presenter able to simplify complex test data into clear commercial narratives. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build alignment and trust. Ways of Working Comfortable operating in fast‑paced environments with multiple concurrent experiments. Strong prioritisation, attention to detail and documentation discipline. Experience contributing to agile workflows and cross‑functional delivery.
