Bechtel is providing a wide variety project and contract management services, crossing all disciplines, to customers in Western Australia to support exciting capital works programmes, including in aviation, defence and energy infrastructure. Job Summary The Reporting Coordinator supports the infrastructure Projects and operational teams by coordinating and consolidating inputs, validating, and analysing data related to execution / construction performance, contractor performance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This role produces timely and accurate reports for Project Managers, engineering / construction teams, field operations, and executive leadership. You will also help maintain data integrity and analysis across project management and asset tracking systems and plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making for the projects / program. Major Responsibilities Interface with the various Project’s Project Controls teams for reporting coordination and consistent application of procedures across the Program / Portfolio. Coordinating and consolidating inputs for Program performance reports and dashboards. Administration of cost, schedule, and other operational departments (safety / risk / quality etc.) reporting systems. Monitors report input recording and reporting practices for compliance with applicable Program standards / processes / procedures. Support formatting and preparation of functional processes, procedures, and other documents as required. Responsible for the development and accuracy of performance reports / dashboards. Verifies consistency with previous reports. Conduct data / process audits to ensure accuracy of information from project teams, contractors, field teams, and internal systems, and compliance with processes. Maintain reporting calendars to ensure deliverables related to reporting and executive / governance meeting cycles are met on time. Coordinate with project controls, engineering, planning, field operations, and construction management teams to ensure data inputs meet reporting calendar requirements, as well as gather data requirements and clarify reporting needs for ad-hoc reports. Assist in developing or refining reporting templates, dashboards, and standard operating procedures to improve reporting efficiency. Provide training or guidance to staff regarding data-entry standards, reporting workflows, and system usage. Education and Experience Requirements Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience. Demonstrated experience in reporting / project coordination, senior / lead data analyst, or similar coordination roles within the infrastructure, construction, utilities, or engineering sectors preferred. Experience with project management or asset management systems (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP, Maximo, ArcGIS, Procore) is an asset. Required Knowledge and Skills Demonstrable skills in working and communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, with other project functional groups as well as the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences. Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders / customers and team members. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power BI (including macros, data visualisation / transformation, DAX, and report design / development) and / or similar data analysis / visualisation tools. Understanding of construction lifecycle phases, infrastructure operations, or asset management principles. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy in data entry and reporting. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines across projects. Ability to analyse data trends, recognise gaps or inconsistencies, and propose process improvements. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a fast-paced project environment.
