Clinical Assistant – QUT (Queensland University of Technology) We are seeking a Clinical Assistant to join the Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Health. The role supports day‑to‑day clinical operations of the QUT Health Clinics, including sterilisation processes, preparation of clinic rooms, equipment and consumables across all clinic disciplines. Responsibilities Provide reliable and efficient support in daily clinical operations of the QUT Health Clinics. Perform sterilisation processes and maintain proper functioning of clinical equipment. Prepare clinic rooms and manage consumables for multiple specialty clinics. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and record keeping. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in a healthcare environment. Qualifications Completion of an associate diploma with relevant experience in Allied Health or a similar setting, and preferably a Certificate III in Sterilisation or equivalent qualifications. Registered Nurse (RN), Enrolled Nurse (EN), or Assistant in Nursing (AIN) currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) are encouraged to apply. Strong interpersonal and client service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, able to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and relevant databases. Knowledge of health and safety protocols in a healthcare environment.
