Role Summary:
As a Governance, Risk, and Compliance Consultant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' security posture by delivering expert advice and solutions based on international frameworks such as ISO27001, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Essential 8. This role is pivotal in helping our clients navigate through the complexities of regulatory requirements and security strategies to reduce risk and enhance compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed risk assessments and audits to identify potential security threats, and make recommendations to reduce risksDevelop and implement governance frameworks in line with ISO27001 standards and the NIST Cybersecurity FrameworkAdvise clients on best practices for risk management and compliance, creating custom solutions tailored to their specific needsLead the implementation of strategic risk management programs that effectively mitigate risks and enhance overall securityCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulationsProvide ongoing support and training to clients and their teams to foster a culture of security awareness and compliancePrepare detailed reports and documentation that clearly communicate risk findings and recommendations for improving security posture
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance within the IT or cybersecurity fieldStrong knowledge of ISO27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Essential 8Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and develop strategic risk management solutionsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with diverse client groupsRelevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, QSA) are highly desirable
