ABOUT THE ROLE: Components Fitter – 7/7 roster Full time position 7/7 Roster Day shift only (Home every night) 12 hour shifts Super Paid on all hours worked Competitive Rates Role duties may include, but are not limited to: Dismantle & rebuild components to the highest standard possible, focusing on quality & finish. Work with products including but not limited to, transmissions, torque converters, differentials, final drive wheel ends, brakes, up boxes, drop boxes, dog bones, loader frames & arms. Be active in a team environment identifying hazards & improvements to procedures to increase efficiency. Oversee apprentices under your supervision and coach and mentor as needed. Oversee TA’s, assisting where required with experience & guidance. Follow all component rebuild section procedures & leading hand direction. Participate in & complete all training as requested. Maintain currency of all high-risk licenses & certificates as required. Requirements: Previous experience component rebuilding – Dana, CAT, Kessler Experience in the overhaul & repair of Transmissions, Final Drives, Diff, Torque Converters and wheel groups, Hydraulic components Demonstrate experience UG mining equipment – Sandvik, Cat, Epiroc Previous mining experience Ability to work in a team environment Strong attention to detail National police clearance Ability to pass a full medical.
