We also sell high end packaging to the cosmetic and fashion industries from our contemporary office and showroom in Marrickville. About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Content Writer at New Directions Australia in our Sydney Head Office, one day a week. We are looking for an individual who can bring ideas to life with a fun, engaging and creative writing style. The content writer will be able to make content that is not just informative, but enjoyable to read with personality, storytelling, flair and originality. Responsibilities Write and edit compelling content for websites, including web descriptions for skin care products and essential oils, blogs, brochures, EDM/email campaigns, and social media campaigns. Ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices to boost online visibility while maintaining consistency with the company’s brand voice and messaging. Editing and proofreading to ensure copy and content are easy to read and tell our unique story. Improve content provided by stakeholders. Gain a strong understanding of our business, brand voice, and target audience to deliver impactful content. Qualifications Hold or are completing a degree in business, communications, journalism, or related field. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Experience in creating content for website. Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills. Capable of engaging, creative writing with a strong command of English. Familiar with SEO, CMS and HTML principles. 2 years of experience in the skincare or personal care raw materials industry or knowledgeable about skincare and essential oils, either through previous work experience or personal interest. Eager to take ownership of projects and use initiative to add value to the brand. Proactive in collaborating with stakeholders. An ambitious and driven person who wants to be part of the New Directions vision for the long term. Self‑motivated and driven; a fast learner with a calm & positive influence. What is in it for you?
