Join a critical operations team delivering high-value, time-sensitive payment and dishonour processing. You will ensure accuracy and compliance in transaction handling while contributing to process improvements, reporting, and investigations that directly support business and fraud risk mitigation strategies. Pay rate: $38.99 p/h + super Contract Duration: 9 months initially Location: Parramatta, NSW Hybrid working arrangement: After 3 months Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end processing of dishonoured transactions, making timely, high-stakes decisions to mitigate operational risk. Conduct investigations on complex or late-stage dishonours, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently. Analyse transaction data and generate insights that inform process improvements, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. Identify and escalate risks or anomalies, contributing to fraud prevention and control measures. Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, ensure coverage, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Deliver actionable recommendations for enhancing operational workflows, automation, and reconciliation processes. What Success Looks Like Critical payments are processed accurately and on time. Investigations and escalations are resolved efficiently, reducing risk exposure. Process insights lead to tangible improvements in efficiency, reporting, or control frameworks. Team collaboration strengthens operational resilience and knowledge sharing. Skills & Attributes Strong analytical and investigative mindset. Ability to prioritise under time-critical conditions. Comfortable with high-volume, repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Proactive in identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce risk.
