Overview At Capturelab, a multidisciplinary post‑production studio, we translate ambitious ideas into polished, platform‑ready stories. We’re looking for a Post Production Specialist to join our creative team in Sydney. Responsibilities Perform basic motion edits: shot matching, captions, titles, level VO/music, and create exports that match specifications. Handle versioning and delivery across formats: 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, 15s/6s cut‑downs, and manage file organization and QC. Retouch stills using non‑destructive workflows, dodge & burn, product and talent clean‑up, creative compositing, and deliver clean layered file hand‑offs. Maintain look consistency: colour and contrast matching across sets, cameras, and lighting, while preserving brand colour intent for web and print. Provide on‑set support for ingest, tethering of stills and motion. Assist with general office tasks as needed. Qualifications 1–3+ years of post‑production experience in a studio, agency, strong freelance work, or recent visual media/arts graduate. Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve; After Effects or Fusion for simple graphics/typography. Photoshop fluency with adjustment layers and non‑destructive workflows. Basic sound fundamentals: VO/music balance and simple cleanup. Understanding of delivery specs for social and online platforms. Portfolio or reel showcasing a range (e.g., documentary‑brand, fashion/beauty, social storytelling). Nice to Have Audio cleanup basics and experience with Reels/Short spacing. Product, fashion, or beauty retouch experience. Familiarity with AI‑assist tools such as Comfy UI or other generative platforms.
