Application Engineering Manager – Remote (Energy Storage) Full‑time remote role for an Application Engineering Manager specializing in Energy Storage Solutions. Location Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Responsibilities Oversee the review of RFx, tender documents, and technical proposal packages from Customers. Lead coordination with internal and external stakeholders during system sizing, simulation, and proposal preparations. Provide strategic technical support throughout the development phase of projects until commissioning, ensuring high‑quality delivery. Manage a team of Application Engineers and mentor them in technical and professional development. Participate in 60% travel, both Domestic and International, based on project needs to visit Customers, sites, events, and Partners. Skills Extensive knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Power Conditioning Systems (PCS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and grid integration. Proven experience with PCS is essential. Strong understanding of simulations for BESS and hybrid systems for sizing and performance. Familiarity with concepts of PV plants and Wind plants, as well as their integration with BESS, is advantageous. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and deliver quality outputs with minimal supervision. Self‑motivated and energetic individual with a strong team spirit and customer‑centric attitude. Proficiency in English as a working language is a mandatory requirement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Power Systems or similar). Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. 4‑6 years of experience in a related industry or role, with managerial experience preferred.
