Lumsden Psychology is a well‑established private psychology practice in Toowoomba, providing evidence‑based psychological services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. The Opportunity We are seeking an organised, welcoming, and professional Receptionist to join our growing team. This position offers flexibility with either full‑time or 0.8 FTE (part‑time) hours available to suit the right candidate. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operations of the practice while contributing to a positive client experience. Key Responsibilities Provide warm, professional service to clients in person, by phone, and via email Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and reminders Process client payments, Medicare claims, and invoicing Maintain accurate and confidential client records Provide administrative support to clinicians and management Assist with general office duties to maintain an efficient workplace About You Previous experience in reception, administration, or customer service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail Proficiency in practice management software, Microsoft Office, and digital systems Compassionate, professional, and client‑focused approach Highly Regarded Previous experience working in mental health or allied health settings Familiarity with practice management software, particularly Halaxy Experience with Medical Objects Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment What We Offer Competitive salary plus superannuation Supportive and friendly workplace culture Flexible working arrangements (full‑time or 0.8 FTE options) Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives Ongoing training and professional development support How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why you're interested in joining our team.
