Community Disability Support Worker – Sydney Eastern Suburbs Do you enjoy helping people and making their lives better? Do you enjoy the outdoors and socialising? If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you About the Role Your role is to provide exceptional service whilst supporting clients to meet their goals as set out in their NDIS plan. This includes but is not limited to: Intensive, flexible, and responsive client‑focused support to assist clients in successfully improving their physical and mental health. Has an initiative to plan client’s activities and other social outings. Develop connections with the community, and achieve their goals. Assist in their needs of daily living, domestic assistance, social support, transport, community outings, and so on. Willing to do both Support Work and Assistant in Nursing. Willing to be on‑call and travel to different areas. Qualifications Flexible availability. Current full Australian driver’s licence. Own car. Comprehensive Car Insurance. NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW). Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate. Working with Children Check (WWCC). Other Requirements Fluent in English. Must have experience with a hoist. Skilled in Manual Handling, managing challenging behaviours, and delivering other high‑care support. At least 2 years of experience in Disability Support or Assistant in Nursing (AIN). Available across all weekdays, including weekends and Public Holidays. Willing to travel to Bondi Area, Malabar, Maroubra, Coogee, etc. Potentially Redfern and other nearby suburbs.
